People Are Predicting Rapture Day Is Coming — Here’s What It Means
Several faithful Christians on TikTok are suggesting that Rapture Day is happening on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025. Here’s why they think it’s happening.
In a recent online video, Melissa Johnston, a self-described Christian, shared her unique preparations for a future event she refers to as the 'Rapture.' Johnston detailed her efforts to provide spiritual guidance for individuals she believes will be 'left behind,' should this event occur. The video, which has garnered significant attention, shows Johnston displaying multiple copies of the Holy Bible, reportedly acquired from a discount store. Each Bible contains handwritten notes from Johnston. One such note reads, 'Jesus loves you! It's not too late. Take this Bible, find other believers, Be careful who you trust. DO NOT TAKE THE MARK in HAND or FOREHEAD.' Another message, intended 'To whoever finds this Bible,' includes a prayer for salvation and advises, 'Believe this in your heart, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Hold fast, Seek God, Stay safe, and find Hope in these pages.' Johnston also indicated that she has pre-marked several scriptures within each Bible, including passages from 2 Chronicles 7:14, John 3:16, Romans 10:9, and Revelation 13:7-10, 13:16-17. Her stated hope is that these Bibles will ultimately reach those who will need them in a post-Rapture world. The video reflects a personal expression of faith and preparedness for a specific theological interpretation of future events.
