Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, July 1, 2025 – The Elder Museum of Science and Technology in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has unveiled its new temporary exhibitions for the summer season, offering visitors a blend of immersive art and adventurous archaeology. The museum now features "Pigmenta2," an exhibition comprising six distinct immersive rooms, each designed to explore the psychological and emotional impact of different colors. Visitors can experience spaces bathed in red, purple, blue, green, orange, and yellow, with each color intended to evoke unique sensations. In addition to the vibrant color experience, the museum is hosting a comprehensive Indiana Jones exhibition, which will be available until September 28. This display includes a collection of authentic pieces and replicas from the iconic film series, alongside interactive elements such as hanging bridges and a mini excavation area designed for aspiring archaeologists. Completing the new attractions is a charming monarch butterfly corner, described as one of the museum's most beautiful spaces. The Elder Museum continues to offer its permanent exhibits, including the Flea Circus, Planetarium, 3D Cinema, Digital Camp, Marine Laboratory, and Smart House. The museum operates from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, and on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. General admission is 8 euros, with a reduced price of 6 euros for Canary Islands residents.
