Ghiroda Continues Făgăraș Street Stabilization for Improved Infrastructure

GHIRODA, ROMANIA – The Ghiroda City Hall has announced the continuation of crucial ground stabilization works on Făgăraș Street, a key infrastructure project aimed at improving local road conditions. The current phase of work focuses on a new section of the street, spanning from Plopilor Street to the connection point with Victoria Street. According to municipal representatives, this stage involves the use of heavy machinery to stabilize the foundation, a critical step before further road construction. Residents in the affected areas may experience temporary discomfort due to dust generated by the ongoing operations. The City Hall expressed gratitude for the patience and understanding of the community. Previously, between June 5th and 6th, similar stabilization efforts were successfully completed on the section of Făgăraș Street located between Herculane and Plopilor streets, followed by the laying of a ballast layer. These continuous efforts underscore the local administration's commitment to enhancing the town's road network.
