

Man Arrested in Remetea Mare for Illegal Weapon Use and Trespassing
REMETEA MARE, Romania – A 40-year-old man from Bucovăț has been arrested following an investigation into the illegal use of a weapon and trespassing in Remetea Mare. Police initiated an official inquiry on June 12, after receiving information regarding incidents on April 9 and June 5. According to authorities, the unidentified individual repeatedly used a weapon to shoot at birds and unlawfully entered the courtyard of a private residence in Remetea Mare. Following extensive checks, officers identified the suspect. On the day of the arrest, a search warrant issued by the Timișoara Court was executed at the man's home. During the search, the weapon allegedly used in the incidents, along with other material evidence, was confiscated. The man has been charged with illegal use of a weapon and home invasion. He was detained for 24 hours and subsequently transferred to the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center in Oradea, as confirmed by representatives of the Timiș County Police Inspectorate (IPJ Timiș).
