Arica Celebrates 70 Years of its Anthem: Thousands Gather at Morro de Arica Arica, Chile – On Sunday, June 1st, the city of Arica witnessed a momentous occasion as over five thousand residents gathered at the iconic Morro de Arica to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the city's anthem. The event served as the vibrant opening ceremony of Arica Week, a celebration culminating on June 7th, the anniversary of the Assault and Taking of the Morro.
