A local angler, known as "thefishermeng," successfully reeled in and released a large shark during a night fishing expedition from a coastal beach. The event, which took place recently, involved using a substantial bait fish to attract the marine predator. The video captures the intense struggle as the angler, equipped with specialized gear and a headlamp, battled the powerful shark from the sandy shore. After a significant fight, the shark was brought to the shallow waters. With the assistance of another individual, the large hook was carefully removed from the shark's mouth, ensuring its well-being. Following the unhooking, the shark was guided back into the deeper waters and released, swimming away. This catch-and-release approach highlights responsible fishing practices.
