Zakopane, Poland – Nestled in the picturesque Tatra Mountains, the charming resort town of Zakopane is experiencing a surge in tourism, particularly from the Gulf region. Emiratis, now Poland's fastest-growing tourist group, are flocking to this mountain retreat to escape the intense summer heat. Tourists from the Gulf praise Zakopane for its stunning natural beauty, efficient organization, and the warm hospitality extended by its residents. Fahad Alayyash, a tourist from Saudi Arabia, shared his unexpected delight, stating, "Zakopane is beautiful in a way I did not expect based on what I saw before I visited. Honestly, the beauty of the nature, the organization, the behavior of the people, the way the government operates, the accommodation [is great]." Another visitor, Abdullah Al Otaibi from Kuwait, discovered Zakopane through social media. "Around two years ago I saw on Twitter (X) a thread about Zakopane, and how she [the town] treats all people the same and there is no racism about religions. So, I liked it and I came," he recounted. Arab tourists consistently cite the feeling of safety as one of Zakopane's best assets, alongside the increasing availability of Halal food options, which further enhances their experience. The town's welcoming environment and diverse offerings are making it a preferred summer getaway for many from the Gulf.
