London, UK – A recent segment on the popular morning show 'This Morning' unveiled a simple, humane, and effective method for deterring unwanted house guests: mice. Expert Nancy Birtwhistle shared her personal experience and a natural solution involving organic peppermint extract. Birtwhistle recounted finding a mouse in her garden shed and her aversion to using traditional traps. "I couldn't bring myself to set a mouse trap," she stated during the broadcast. This led her to discover a natural alternative. The solution is surprisingly simple: mix approximately two teaspoons of organic peppermint extract with 500ml of water. This mixture is then transferred into a spray bottle and applied to areas where mice have been observed. "They hate peppermint. They hate the smell," Birtwhistle explained, emphasizing that the strong scent encourages mice to relocate without causing them any harm. When asked if the method works on other pests, Birtwhistle suggested, "I think many insects don't like peppermint." This natural approach offers a safe and affordable option for households looking to manage pests without resorting to harsh chemicals or traps.
