Keszthely, Hungary – The Keszthely railway station recently underwent a significant visual upgrade with the installation of a new 3D illuminated LED sign for GYSEV. The project, undertaken by XLMD, involved the meticulous placement of large "VASÚTÁLLOMÁS" (Railway Station) letters and the distinct GYSEV logo on the station's facade. The installation process, which the company described as being completed with "great enthusiasm," included preparing the sign components on the ground before carefully hoisting them into position. Workers were observed securing the letters and logo, as well as managing the electrical connections, which reportedly proceeded without issues. However, the video documenting the installation has drawn some public attention regarding safety protocols. Several online comments raised concerns about the workers operating at height without visible fall protection. One commenter noted, "Working at height, and no one is secured against falling... nice," while another added, "Oh. Have you heard about fall protection? It's necessary for heights exceeding 1m difference. 🤨🤔"Despite these public observations, the company stated that the "fastening and electrical work proceeded without problems." The newly installed sign aims to enhance the station's visibility and modernize its appearance for commuters and visitors alike.
