Kazakhstani Soldiers Awarded State Grants for Higher Education

Astana, Kazakhstan – In a ceremony held at the Ministry of Defence, 22 Kazakhstani soldiers received state grants for higher education. These grants provide free university tuition for soldiers who have completed their mandatory service. The initiative aims to improve opportunities for veterans. One recipient, Konusov Zhanibek Kabdrakhmanuly, shared, "It was difficult to take the exams while in the army, but I managed." Another soldier, whose name was not disclosed, will be studying at Almaty's Civil Aviation Academy. This program is a positive step in supporting veterans' futures and demonstrates the government's commitment to education and military personnel.
