Peru's President Dina Boluarte's New Monthly Salary Approved by MEF

Lima, Peru – The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has officially approved a new monthly salary for President Dina Boluarte, which will now amount to S/ 35,568. The announcement was made today, with officials stating that the adjustment was determined by a weighted average of salaries for high-ranking executive positions, including ministers and vice-ministers. This decision aims to standardize compensation for top government officials. The new salary, formalized through a Supreme Decree, reflects an extension of existing salary structures within the executive branch. President Boluarte’s new remuneration is expected to take effect immediately following the official publication of the decree.
