Lima, Peru – In a testament to Peruvian entrepreneurship and agricultural excellence, the organic coffee brand Incan Forests, spearheaded by siblings Saúl and Eleni Marín Salazar, is making significant strides in the international market. The third-generation coffee growers have successfully introduced their specialty coffee to countries including Japan, France, and Australia, highlighting the rich tradition and innovative spirit of Peruvian caficulture. The Marín Salazar siblings, whose family roots run deep in the coffee-growing regions of Chanchamayo and Junín, founded Incan Forests with a vision to combine ancestral methods with modern sustainable practices. Their coffee, cultivated in pristine, toxin-free lands, boasts unique qualities, notably being free from the common fungus that affects many beans and not causing tachycardia, a common concern for coffee drinkers. "Our commitment is not just to produce exceptional coffee, but also to ensure it's a product that contributes positively to health and the environment," stated Eleni Marín Salazar. Saúl added, "We meticulously select and roast our beans to achieve a medium toast and homogeneous grains, ensuring a superior flavor profile that is both rich and aromatic." Beyond their premium coffee, Incan Forests offers a range of organic products, including honey, red and black maca, and a unique tea made from the cascara of Geisha coffee, known for its fruity aroma. The brand's success extends beyond commerce, deeply impacting its local community. The project actively generates employment in Pampa Whaley, providing support to women, elderly adults, and even a local school. "It's incredibly rewarding to see our passion for coffee translate into tangible benefits for our community," remarked Eleni. "We believe in a business model that not only thrives economically but also uplifts the lives of those who are integral to our journey." Incan Forests stands as a prime example of how local traditions, when coupled with innovation and a strong social conscience, can achieve global recognition and foster sustainable development.
