Following heavy rainfall in Chisinau, Moldova, the Petru Movila Lyceum experienced significant water damage on its fourth floor. A video posted on social media showed water leaks, mold growth, and buckets strategically placed to collect water. "It's unacceptable that students are learning in these conditions," stated a concerned parent. The school administration declined to comment, but Andrei Pavaloi, deputy head of the Chisinau Education Department, confirmed an investigation is underway to determine why allocated repair funds were not used. Pavaloi plans to meet with the school's director on May 29th to address the situation. The incident highlights the need for greater transparency in the allocation and use of school funds.
