Panama City Street Changes Traffic Flow to Improve Safety
Panama City Traffic Change: Los Lirios Street to Become One-Way San Francisco district residents will see a significant change to their commute starting this Saturday. The Autoridad de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (ATTT) is implementing a change in the direction of traffic on Los Lirios Street, near the Belisario Porras school and the Enrico Fermi Institute. The change aims to improve traffic flow and enhance road safety in this busy area. "The purpose is to address the frequent vehicular conflicts in this area, particularly during school hours," stated an ATTT official in an interview with TVN Noticias. The official explained that the street will now operate as a one-way street, running from 75th Street toward 74th Street. The ATTT has installed new signage and road markings to clearly indicate the new traffic flow. They also plan a public awareness campaign to ensure a smooth transition. This proactive measure demonstrates a commitment to improving road safety and easing congestion in a key area of Panama City.
