Poland's New Free Health Program: Early Detection, Personalized Care, and Local Access
Poland Launches Free Preventative Healthcare Program: 'Moje Zdrowie' Offers Early Disease Detection and Personalized Plans Poland has launched a new nationwide preventative healthcare program called "Moje Zdrowie" (My Health), offering free health screenings and personalized plans to citizens aged 20 and older. The initiative, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and various healthcare providers, aims to improve public health by detecting diseases early and promoting healthier lifestyles. The program provides a range of benefits, including free laboratory tests, individual health plans tailored to individual needs and age, and access to dieticians and preventative care specialists. "This program is a significant step towards improving the health of our nation," said Dr. Adam Król, a physician featured in a promotional video for the program. "Early detection is key to effective treatment, and this program makes it accessible to everyone." Tests can be conveniently performed at local primary care facilities (POZ), making the program easily accessible across the country. The program's focus on personalized care and community-based testing is intended to encourage participation and improve overall health outcomes. The Ministry of Health hopes that "Moje Zdrowie" will significantly reduce the burden of chronic diseases and improve the quality of life for Polish citizens.
