Sarawak's CANROLL 2025 Festival Concludes Successfully, Showcasing the State as a Thriving Extreme Sports Hub Kuching, Sarawak – The inaugural CANROLL 2025 festival, a three-day extravaganza of extreme sports and youth culture, concluded on May 25th at the Kuching Waterfront. The event successfully established Sarawak as a burgeoning hub for extreme sports in the region, attracting both local and international participants. The festival, organized by the Canard Group, offered a diverse range of activities, including rollerblading, BMX, skateboarding, and jet skiing. Participants from France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and Peninsular Malaysia competed in various events. "CANROLL is not just about sports and entertainment; it's a cultural movement that inspires and empowers the younger generation," said Nik Mohd Suhaily, the founder of CANROLL. "We aim to provide them with opportunities within the sports and creative industries." The closing ceremony was attended by Datuk Hilmi Othman, representing the Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, highlighting the government's support for such initiatives. The overwhelming positive response from both local and international visitors ensures that CANROLL will continue to be a highlight in Sarawak's sporting calendar for years to come.
