Sarawak Launches Bilingual Assessment to Boost Human Capital KUCHING, SARAWAK – In a significant move to enhance human capital development, Sarawak's Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, recently announced the Sarawak Bilingual Programme Assessment (UPDLP). This standardized assessment, targeting Year Six and Form Three students participating in the Dual Language Programme, will be implemented on October 15th and 16th, 2025. The assessment covers core subjects, Science, Mathematics, and English, all vetted by Cambridge University Press & Assessment (CUPA) to ensure international standards. "This initiative underscores our commitment to maintaining high educational standards in Sarawak," stated Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn. The collaboration with CUPA guarantees the quality and global recognition of the assessments, ensuring Sarawak's students are equipped for international competitiveness.
