

Sarawak to Host Prestigious Asian Squash Championships
Sarawak to Host Asian Squash Championships 2025 Sarawak, Malaysia, is set to host the Asian Individual and Doubles Squash Championships in June 2025. The tournament, taking place at the Sarawak Squash Centre in Petra Jaya, will feature 18 nations and approximately 90 athletes. This was announced by Datuk Jerip Susil, the Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development for Sarawak. "We are thrilled to welcome such a prestigious event to Sarawak," said Datuk Jerip. "This will showcase Sarawak's sporting facilities and attract international attention." The Asian Individual Championships will run from June 17th to 21st, followed by the Doubles Championships from June 23rd to 26th. Countries participating include China, India, Japan, South Korea, and many others. Local athlete Harith Daniel will represent Malaysia. The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle of athletic competition.
