Sarawak Launches Ambitious Green Economy Plan: Sarawak, a Malaysian state, has unveiled its Sarawak Sustainability Master Plan 2030. This comprehensive plan aims to transition the state to a green economy by 2030. The plan, launched by Premier Abang Johari, outlines key strategies for renewable energy, carbon capture, and sustainable city development. "This holistic approach," said Premier Johari, "is a strategic move to position Sarawak as a regional leader in green initiatives." The plan includes 10 strategic pillars, 48 detailed strategies, and 111 action plans, emphasizing education and collaboration. The initiative aligns with the 2025 ASEAN theme of inclusivity and sustainability, showcasing Sarawak's commitment to environmental responsibility and economic growth.
