151 Receive Sarawak State Honors in Grand Ceremony

Sarawak Honors 151 with State Awards Kuching, Sarawak – In a ceremony held at the Dewan Besar of Astana Negeri Sarawak on Thursday, May 31st, 2025, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar bestowed state awards upon 151 recipients. The event, livestreamed on TVSarawak and other platforms, showcased the state's recognition of outstanding contributions. Among the notable recipients were Roshidi Junai, the Penghulu of Kuching Utara; Roger Chan, President of the Sarawak Australia Business Chamber; and Ruslan Abdul Ghani, CEO of Kumpulan Binlu Port Holdings Berhad. These individuals represent diverse sectors, highlighting the breadth of achievements recognized by the state. "This is a day of great honor for Sarawak," said one recipient, who wished to remain anonymous. "It's inspiring to see so many individuals recognized for their hard work and dedication." The ceremony also included the presentation of the Pingat Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (PPC) and other state honors.
