Недобудована станція метро у Києві: де вона розташована та чому проєкт заморози…
Київський метрополітен має чимало таємниць. Зокрема, там також є кілька недобудованих станцій між тими, які всім відомі.
Kyiv, Ukraine – The unfinished Lvivska Brama metro station, a long-standing enigma beneath the city, continues to capture public imagination. Construction on the station began in 1991, a pivotal year for Ukraine as it gained independence. However, the nascent nation faced severe economic challenges, leading to a halt in the project due to a lack of funding and investors. Originally envisioned as a fully functional metro stop, only the foundational structure of Lvivska Brama was completed. The station remains without essential features such as interior finishing, passenger exits, or ventilation systems. Plans for a connected business center on Lvivska Square, designed to integrate directly with the metro, were also shelved, leaving the entire project in limbo. For over three decades, Lvivska Brama has existed as a subterranean "ghost," a concrete shell adorned with graffiti, embodying a silent testament to unrealized urban development. The station's fate highlights the complex interplay of historical events, economic realities, and urban planning in Kyiv's development.
