De Kipknots, Smulrol en het Nierbroodje: mogen deze zsm terugkomen?
A recent video by 'fritoricus ubelski' has shed light on the intriguing history and current unavailability of the 'Kipknots,' a chicken snack once produced by the brand Mora. Introduced in March 2001, the 'Kipknots' quickly gained a unique cultural following, becoming particularly prominent between 2007 and 2017. Its popularity was significantly boosted by its inclusion in the satirical Dutch series 'New Kids' and a punk song by the band Hang Youth in 2015. The snack also made an appearance in the film 'Ron Goossens, Low Budget Stuntman.' Despite its cult status and enduring appeal, Mora has reportedly discontinued the 'Kipknots' from its production line, with no current plans for its reintroduction. This decision has led to a wave of nostalgia among fans, prompting some independent butchers to create their own versions of the beloved snack to fill the void left by Mora's official product. The brand name, however, remains protected.
