Santa Cruz, Bolivia – Mariana Prado, the vice-presidential candidate for Alianza Popular, addressed a forum organized by exporters in Santa Cruz today, where she critically assessed past governmental approaches to the export sector. Prado, representing presidential candidate Andrónico Rodríguez, stated, "It was an error not to have dialogued with the export sector." She elaborated, describing this as not merely a strategic mistake but a political one. During her speech, Prado underscored her extensive experience in government, noting, "I have more than 12 years knowing the state, and I am clear where the leaks are, which pipeline is broken, which places require improvement." She expressed deep concern over the emigration of Bolivians, remarking, "It seems that the only way out of Bolivia is Viru Viru [Santa Cruz's international airport]. That truly angers and pains me." Prado asserted her belief that despite any past mismanagement, the country retains significant potential. "A bad government management does not mean that the country is sunk. It does not mean that the country has no hopes. It does not mean that the country does not have all the potential to once again retake the path of growth and development," she concluded, emphasizing a message of resilience and future prosperity.
