British Air Defense Systems Show High Success Rate in Ukraine
British Air Defense Systems Prove Effective in Ukraine In the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, British-supplied air defense systems have demonstrated significant success. The systems, officially named Raven but also known as Frankenstein, have been deployed since spring 2023. According to the video, over 400 missiles have been launched, with a 70% success rate against targets like Shahed-136 drones. The UK has already supplied eight systems and trained 40 Ukrainian operators. Further deliveries are planned. The video also highlights the system's capabilities, including a maximum speed of Mach 3 and a range of up to 15 kilometers from ground launch and over 25 kilometers when launched from an aircraft. The video gives viewers a clear understanding of the system's technical specifications and on-the-ground performance. "The Raven system has proven to be a valuable asset in Ukraine's defense," stated a military expert. The video concludes with a look at a mobile drone countermeasure system, the 1x1, showcased at the FEINDEF 2025 defense exhibition in Madrid. This system, with a range of 14 kilometers for commercial antennas and 40 kilometers for military applications, demonstrates continued advancements in defense technology.
