In a brief video interview, Mikhalovsky highlighted the significant number of medical institutions and staff within the region, stating, "In the Brest region, 630 healthcare institutions operate, employing over 43,500 people." Mikhalovsky also discussed the ongoing modernization of healthcare infrastructure. Major renovations are underway at several facilities, including a significant investment of over 10 million rubles in a city hospital that will serve approximately 33,000-35,000 residents. He further noted that a children's polyclinic is scheduled to open soon following renovations. These improvements are expected to enhance healthcare services in the region. While the positive trend in mortality reduction is encouraging, Mikhalovsky acknowledged the concern over falling birth rates, a challenge faced across the country.
