Many workers carried signs expressing their grievances. One worker, who chose to remain anonymous, stated, "We work hard, but we can't feed our families on these wages." Malik Basintale, CEO of the YEA, addressed the protesters. He stated, "I will never approve any contract that pays Zoomlion workers below the minimum wage." Basintale also promised to investigate the matter and ensure that the workers receive their rightful compensation. The protest ended peacefully, with the workers expressing hope that their concerns will be addressed promptly. The YEA has pledged to work with Zoomlion to resolve the wage dispute and ensure that all workers receive a living wage.
