An influencer's recent video has brought to light a series of alleged deficiencies at the Hotel Bahía de Trafalgar in Cádiz, Spain, sparking a significant online discussion. The content creator, known as xurxocarreno, detailed a litany of issues during his stay, including a non-functional and excessively noisy air conditioning unit, which he claims made sleeping impossible. He also reported that the hotel's advertised direct beach access was misleading, requiring a lengthy detour. Furthermore, the television lacked signal, the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, and cleaning services were reportedly absent for three days, leading to accumulated trash and uncleaned rooms. The hotel's pool, advertised as a key amenity, was found to be green and unusable, with a broken motor, a problem that, according to the influencer, had been noted in reviews from years prior. In response to the initial video, Hotel Bahía de Trafalgar posted on social media, stating that the issues had been resolved and attributing some problems, such as insects, to its rural location. However, xurxocarreno refuted these claims, presenting evidence that the problems persisted during his stay. He also mentioned that Booking.com, through which the reservation was made, offered a partial refund, acknowledging some responsibility. Despite the partial compensation, the influencer stated he is not seeking money but rather a commitment from the hotel to address and rectify these issues to prevent future guests from experiencing similar discomforts.
