«Асфальт нецелесообразен»
Белоруска показала, как три года добивается у чиновников ремонта дороги.
Smagorin, Belarus – Residents of Smagorin village in the Rechitsa district are expressing growing frustration over the neglected state of their main access road and an adjacent bridge. Despite official assurances that significant repairs would commence in 2025, locals report that no preparatory work has been initiated, raising concerns about continued delays and the impact on their daily lives. The video, shared by a local resident, vividly depicts the severely damaged gravel road, riddled with potholes and an unmaintained bridge. The narrator, identifying herself as Svetlana, states, "Our bridge is in this condition. In 2025, they said they would repair it, but so far no preparatory work for the repair is visible, and it's already mid-September." She further highlights a substantial collection of official correspondence with various government bodies, including the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, dating back to 2022. One letter from January 2024 explicitly mentions that "planned repair work will be carried out in 2025." Residents claim the poor road conditions lead to frequent vehicle damage and significant dust pollution, particularly concerning given the village's proximity to the Chernobyl zone. "Cars are breaking down. People in the Chernobyl zone are breathing dust," Svetlana noted. The community awaits a definitive resolution from the authorities regarding the promised repairs and asphalt paving in the rural area.
