The guide, created by Beijing-based private tour guide Ting, addresses common questions and provides practical tips to ensure a smooth travel experience. According to the guide, a key convenience for foreigners is the use of passports as tickets, eliminating the need for paper tickets. Upon arrival at the station, travelers are advised to consult large blue screens to confirm train numbers and check-in gates. While locals can scan their ID cards, foreign passport holders must use designated manual gates, typically located to the side of automated checkpoints. The video highlights the spacious waiting halls, recommending travelers arrive 30 minutes early to allow for relaxation and access to numerous food options. It clarifies that while ticket confirmations may show two gates, both lead to the same platform, just at different ends, allowing passengers to board closer to their assigned carriage. Inside the train, passengers can easily locate their car numbers on the side of the train and their seat numbers above. The guide also provides a quick tip on seat types: 'A' and 'F' are window seats, 'ABC' denotes a row of three, and 'DF' indicates a row of two.
