The couple is currently under remand for seven days, from May 27 to June 2, 2025, and the case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Datuk Zulkhairi also indicated that authorities are working towards a complete ban on the sale of vape products in the near future, citing concerns over the increase in synthetic drug use among students.
