The operation, conducted in the Brickfields area of Kuala Lumpur, led to the arrest of two Taiwanese nationals, aged 30 and 35. "Based on information from our investigation on May 28th, 2025, around 10:30 PM, we raided a condominium in Brickfields," stated DSP Mat Zani @ Mohd Salahuddin Che Ali, the acting head of the Bukit Aman Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department. The raid yielded 88.2 liters of the liquid methamphetamine, enough to potentially harm 44,100 people, according to initial estimates. In addition to the drugs, police confiscated various equipment used in the production process, including mixing machines, heating equipment, and weighing scales. The suspects are currently in police custody and are facing serious charges. This significant seizure underscores the ongoing fight against drug trafficking in Malaysia and the threat posed by new forms of drug distribution.
