Factory Bus Crash in Bangi, Kajang: 46 Nepali Workers Injured A factory bus carrying 46 Nepali workers overturned in the Bangi industrial area of Kajang, Malaysia, on Thursday. Police believe the accident was caused by brake failure. According to Assistant Commissioner Nazrul Abdul Yusuf, the incident happened around 6:45 am while the bus was traveling from Putrajaya to the Bangi industrial area. "When the driver tried to stop the bus to let the passengers off, he found the brakes weren't working," said ACP Yusuf. This resulted in the bus losing control and overturning near a junction. One passenger suffered serious injuries and is being treated at Hospital Sultan Idris Shah, while the others sustained minor injuries. All passengers were workers aged between 20 and 40 years old, employed at a factory in Bandar Baru Bangi. The case is under investigation under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which carries a fine of RM5,000-RM10,000 or imprisonment up to 12 months.
