Tragic Accident Claims Three IKBN Jitra Students

Three students from Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara (IKBN) Jitra died in a tragic accident on the North-South Expressway near Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia on Thursday, June 5, 2025. The accident involved two motorcycles and a car. According to ACP Siti Nur Salawati Saad, Chief of Kota Setar District Police, the accident happened around 8:10 PM. The impact of the collision resulted in the deaths of three students and injuries to a fourth. The deceased students were identified as Muhammad Habil Muhammad Sobri, Muhammad Fahmi Jamil, and Muhammad Arif Aiman Derani. The injured student, Muhammad Adib Aiman Muhammad Hasani, is receiving treatment at a hospital. Police are investigating the accident under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and cautious driving.
