Tragedy Strikes Bukit Jalil: Four-Year-Old Dies After Fall from Apartment, Mother and Aunt Arrested A four-year-old boy tragically lost his life after falling from the 30th floor of an apartment building in Jalan Jalil Impian 1, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, on Thursday. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community and prompted a swift police investigation. Police have confirmed the arrest of the child's mother and her sister, the boy's aunt. They are currently being held to assist with the investigation. Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan, Chief of the Cheras District Police, stated that the investigation is being conducted under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001 due to suspected negligence. "We are still investigating the cause of the incident and how the child was able to fall from such a height," said Assistant Commissioner Bolhassan. The police received an emergency call at 11:17 AM on Thursday. A post-mortem examination at Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital revealed the child suffered multiple serious injuries consistent with a fall from a great height.
