Two Teenagers Killed in Motorcycle Accident in Kota Tinggi A tragic accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Kota Tinggi, Johor, Malaysia, claiming the lives of two 14-year-old students. The accident involved a collision between a Honda X5 motorcycle carrying the two boys and a Suzuki Swift car driven by a 44-year-old local woman. The accident took place on Jalan Sedili Kecil-Tanjong Balau at approximately 2:35 PM. According to Kota Tinggi District Police Chief Superintendent Yusuf Othman, "Initial investigations suggest the motorcycle lost control and entered the opposing lane, colliding with the car." Both teenagers sustained severe injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver was unharmed. The bodies of Muhammad Adam Haris Al-Hafiz and Nur Rizmal Shah Jasni, both 14, were sent to Kota Tinggi Hospital for post-mortem examination. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which carries a penalty of up to 10 years' imprisonment and a fine of up to RM50,000, or both, upon conviction.
