"Here, working hours can be much shorter, and they are equally well paid," she stated, emphasizing that working less does not mean earning less. One of the most notable differences, she explained, is the high degree of flexibility offered to employees. "In most jobs, or at least in mine, they give you flexibility. You can start between 8:00 and 9:30," she noted, indicating a broad window for employees to begin their workday. Furthermore, she detailed a culture of trust regarding personal commitments. "If something comes up during the day because you are a mother and your child gets sick, or whatever, you have total freedom to leave, and no one will say anything to you," she affirmed. She added that there is no requirement for medical justifications when absent for appointments, as employers generally trust their employees' word.
