Three Sisters Found Dead in Washington: Father Sought in Triple Homicide
Three young sisters were found murdered in Leavenworth, Washington, prompting a manhunt for their father. Authorities discovered the bodies of Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia Decker (5) near a local campground. Sheriff Morrison stated, "Going on 20 years, I don't think I've had a situation that has really almost prompted tears to come up. We feel for the family." Police are searching for Travis Decker, their 32-year-old father, who had been granted court-approved visitation. An EMPA (Endangered Missing Person Alert) was issued instead of an Amber Alert because the criteria for abduction were not met. A neighbor expressed shock, saying, "Having my own daughter...that's shocking. I don't know what this mother is going through; it's probably the hell on Earth." The investigation continues, focusing on Decker, who has a history of mental health issues, including a borderline personality disorder diagnosis for which he was supposed to receive treatment but did not. The community is mourning the loss of the three young girls.
