On Friday, May 30th, visitors to the Municipal Garden of Nicosia can exchange five used batteries for a 5 Euro voucher, redeemable for food and drinks at the popular market. The initiative aims to encourage responsible battery disposal and promote environmental awareness within the community. Organizers have clarified that while the incentive is capped at 20 Euros per person, the primary goal is to encourage widespread participation in recycling.
