Kyrgyzstan Launches Scenic Summer Train Route: Bishkek to Balykchy. A new passenger train connecting Bishkek and Balykchy will begin service on June 6th, offering a convenient and scenic way to reach Lake Issyk-Kul. The train will operate three times a week until July 6th, then daily until August 31st. "The addition of this route is expected to boost tourism in the region," said a representative from Kyrgyz Temir Jolu. Tickets are available in various classes, ranging from standard seating to luxurious VIP compartments. The journey offers stunning views of the Kyrgyz mountains and countryside. This initiative aims to improve transportation options and enhance the tourist experience in Kyrgyzstan.
