Huelva, Spain The Huelva City Council has released a comprehensive set of safety recommendations for the upcoming "Magna Mariana Huelva 25" event, aiming to ensure the well-being of all attendees. The official announcement, featuring officers from the local police and fire department, outlines key logistical and emergency protocols. A female police officer began by stating, "This is what you need to know if you are coming to enjoy the Magna de Huelva." She detailed transportation options, explaining, "If you come by car, you can park for free at the Recinto Colombino. From there, Emtusa shuttle buses will take you to the city center." A civil protection officer then highlighted citizen support services. "We will set up two citizen attention points, one at Mercado del Carmen and another at Casa Colón," he announced. "There, you can obtain identification bracelets for the little ones." He further stressed the importance of public cooperation, urging, "It is important to pay special attention to the instructions of the local police, as pedestrian and vehicle traffic may be restricted for safety reasons." The fire department also contributed to the safety briefing, with an officer advising on emergency situations. "Always follow our recommendations," he said. "First, observe. If you are entering a street and see a large crowd of people, do not enter it." He continued with critical evacuation advice: "If you find yourself immersed in a crowd evacuation, first, stay calm, do not run, and of course, do not go against the flow. All you have to do is raise your arms to protect your space and wait for us to tell you how to get out." The city council also confirmed that six parking areas would be designated for buses from other locations near the official route. Traffic will be closed along the entire official route from 10:00 AM on Saturday until the event concludes. Additionally, a mobile team for emergencies and health assistance will be stationed at Mercado del Carmen and Casa Colón. The video concluded with a male police officer stating, "We take care of watching over you," reinforcing the authorities' commitment to public safety during the religious event.
