Bella Hadid Opens Up About "Aggressive" Tooth Infection and Lyme Disease Flare-Up

Supermodel Bella Hadid has candidly shared a personal health update with her followers, detailing a challenging experience with a persistent tooth infection that has impacted her overall well-being. In a recent social media post, Hadid explained that a "low-grade infection underneath the tooth, NEXT to the tooth I thought was suffering," which was adjacent to a tooth that underwent a root canal a year prior, has spread to her jaw.Hadid described feeling a strong intuition for months that this specific tooth needed to be removed for her healing process, stating, "I have felt in my heart for months that I needed this tooth out, to heal the rest, and if not, it was going to take me out!" She highlighted the critical connection between physical trauma and her chronic Lyme disease, noting, "This made my Lyme flare up, which means the Lyme is attacking the places that are suffering ie tooth, jaw, gut, brain, spine, bones, etc oh and the entire nervous system."The model further elaborated on how stress and overworking exacerbate her condition, explaining, "My jaw has been so inflamed, and would flare up/inflame randomly when I was/am overly stressed or over working." She acknowledged the frequent nature of Lyme flare-ups but expressed particular concern over the aggressive and radiating pain in her jaw and nerves. Despite the difficult days, Hadid shared a positive coping mechanism: "I feel better when I’m riding! I think my horses just really take my mind off the pain." She revealed that this jaw issue was the reason she stopped riding a decade ago and was determined not to let it hinder her return to the sport.Looking forward, Hadid announced her plan to have the infected tooth extracted, expressing an unusual eagerness for a dental procedure. "I’m getting this tooth extracted tomorrow! Going to heal that infection! Ive never been so excited go to the dentist," she concluded, thanking her followers for their support and wishing her luck.
