Illegal Entry Attempt Foiled: 64 Foreign Nationals Stopped at KLIA

Sixty-four foreign nationals attempted to enter Malaysia illegally on May 15, 2025, but their efforts were thwarted by authorities at KLIA Terminal 1. Immigration officials detected suspicious behavior and the use of fraudulent documents, including fake hotel reservations and return tickets. The individuals, hailing from Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan, failed to meet the country's entry requirements. "The AKPS (Agency for Coastal and Border Protection) detected the deceptive tactics," said a spokesperson for the agency. This incident highlights the ongoing challenges faced by Malaysian authorities in preventing illegal immigration.
