Restaurant Customer Alleges Rudeness and Offensive Language from Staff During Dining Experience
A local resident, Courtney, recently shared a detailed account of a highly unsatisfactory dining experience at a restaurant in the St. Louis area. According to Courtney, who documented parts of the incident live on her social media, the issues began with a lack of greeting from their server upon arrival. Courtney recounted a misunderstanding regarding the restaurant's happy hour promotion. After inquiring about the happy hour details, she was informed by a bartender about certain inclusions. However, when it came time to pay, the server, identified as Maddie, appeared confused about the happy hour pricing. The situation escalated when the server allegedly used offensive language towards Courtney. Another staff member reportedly intervened, expressing disapproval of such language towards customers and bringing a manager to the scene. The manager offered Courtney a 50% discount on her meal due to the incident. Despite the offer, Courtney stated she was already prepared to leave and expressed her intent to take her business to establishments in the Clayton area, known for their "decorum." She emphasized that the entire experience was "totally uncalled for" and highlighted the staff's general lack of smiles and what she perceived as a dislike for their jobs, aside from the bartender.
