In a recent video, the expert explained a common mistake owners make and offered a simple, positive reinforcement technique. "Most of us, when our dog is pulling, pull back and say 'Heel' or 'By me'," the trainer stated. "This is actually making your dog think that 'Heel' is a pull of the lead.
