According to Espina, this directive is a response to ongoing tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Espina claims that more than 150 Iranian immigrants have already been apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in recent days. Among those reportedly arrested is a woman who has been a legal resident in the U.S. for over 40 years, actively following her immigration process.
