Chisinau Schools: Security Cameras Planned, Exam Halls Excluded

Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban announced a plan to install security cameras around schools, but not in exam halls. This decision, made in response to concerns about public safety and vandalism, aims to create a safer environment for students. The education department has until the end of June to submit a list of locations and costs. "We believe our children and teachers will manage exams without video surveillance," Ceban stated. The initiative is part of broader efforts to improve school security in the city.
