Eagle-eyed cleaner exposes real estate agent after he threatened bond
An end-of-lease cleaner has declared she is 'done with real estate agents forever' after the incident at a rental in NSW.
A recent incident involving a cleaning business owner has highlighted the escalating frustrations between tenants, landlords, and real estate agents regarding property maintenance. The owner of Cleaning Biz Coach was reportedly called back to a rental property in Australia to address a complaint about "white sticky residue" on a dishwasher. Upon inspection, it was discovered that the alleged residue was, in fact, the original protective plastic film still affixed to the brand new appliance. The cleaning professional expressed her exasperation in a video, stating, "She's never used the fucking dishwasher." She further revealed that the tenant was "too scared to" use the appliance, fearing repercussions from the real estate agency. This situation, occurring in a rental property with a weekly rent of approximately $550, raises questions about the thoroughness of property inspections and the often-unreasonable demands placed on tenants. Critics argue that such incidents contribute to a climate of fear among renters, potentially leading to unnecessary expenses and strained relationships within the rental market.
