Skydiver Dies After 10,000ft Fall, Hours After Relationship Ends

A 32-year-old woman, Jade Damarell, tragically died after a 10,000-foot skydive, an inquest has confirmed. The incident, which occurred after Ms. Damarell reportedly split from her boyfriend just hours prior, has been ruled non-suspicious by police following the discovery of a written note. Ms. Damarell, an experienced skydiver with over 400 jumps, did not open her parachute and landed on her back. Investigators found no reason to suspect her equipment was malfunctioning. Friends of Ms. Damarell expressed their belief that she intended to take her own life. Her family released a statement saying they "miss her beyond words" but her "love, brilliance, courage, and light will live on." The Daily Mirror has approached Mr. Goodfellow, her former boyfriend, for comment.
