Femeile din PNL, reacție furibundă după ce au fost făcute “incompetente” de Ilie Bolojan. O membră a partidului a transmis un mesaj dur.
Bucharest, Romania – Diana Mardarovici, a General Councillor for Bucharest and a prominent member of the National Liberal Party (PNL), has publicly challenged recent remarks concerning the competence of women within her party. In a video statement, Mardarovici addressed what she referred to as an 'unfortunate statement' from a PNL leader, which implied that women in the party are 'incompetent.' Mardarovici, an economist and self-identified feminist, argued that Romania boasts a significant number of highly competent women, many of whom hold advanced degrees and excel in various fields, including the private sector. She questioned why the PNL's internal mechanisms appear to attract or promote individuals who might be perceived as less capable, stating, "If this is true, PNL needs to conduct an internal analysis and develop a strategy to attract smarter women." Her commentary underscores a broader debate about gender equality and representation in Romanian politics, suggesting that the issue lies not with the availability of competent women but with the party's own selection and promotion processes. Mardarovici emphasized the responsibility of party leadership to ensure that capable women are identified and given opportunities for advancement.
