Cedric ist ein kleines Schaf. In einem Schlachthaus im australischen Bundesstaat Victoria sieht er einem grausamen Ende entgegen.
MELBOURNE, Australia – A young sheep named Cedric, who had been evading capture for days in a local off-leash dog park, was successfully rescued by the dedicated team from Edgar’s Mission, a non-profit farmed animal sanctuary. The rescue operation, which unfolded across challenging hilly terrain, saw the team patiently tracking the wary animal. According to rescuers, Cedric, believed to have faced backyard slaughter, was understandably hesitant to approach humans. The breakthrough came with the unexpected assistance of a dog, whose keen senses helped locate the sheep hidden amidst tall grass. Footage shows rescuers carefully approaching Cedric, offering comfort and reassurance as they secured him. Once safely secured, Cedric was gently carried by the team from the park and transported to Edgar’s Mission sanctuary. He is now reportedly thriving in his new home, embracing companionship and the kindness offered by his caregivers. The sanctuary stated that Cedric is a testament to their mission of providing safe and loving homes for rescued farmed animals.
